MedUSe 50-F-SiXi
Fine cleaning system for Intuitive Surgical DaVinci robotic instruments

The MedUSe 50-F-SiXi ultrasonic cleaning system is characterized by the highest quality and most efficient cleaning of instruments used in medical technology, especially for cleaning instruments of the “da Vinci” surgical robot system. The MedUSe 50-F-SiXi proves highest safety and efficiency thanks to fully automatic cleaning process.
Different cleaning programs offer optimal adaptation to the operator’s needs. All programs or cleaning processes can be individually programmed and adapted at any time. The development of this ultrasonic cleaning system is protected according to the Swiss Copyright Act (URG) SR231.1 of 1992 (rev. 2008).
› Automatic filling of the system
› Dosage of the disinfectant
› multi-frequency ultrasonic sonication
› automatic emptying of the contaminated water
› automatic cleaning of the bath
› integrated rinsing with high pressure spray system
› rinsing of the instruments
› validation and logging of the cleaning process.
The ultrasonic cleaning system developed by us is designed for the universal instrument holders and for the cleaning of all previous Intuitiv instruments and also for DIN cleaning baskets, which allows the Si and Xi holders of the last generation. The patented system is an innovative solution from MediSonics. The novel technology allows to move the Intuitive instruments (probes) during the cleaning process, or to open and close scissors.
In this way, even previously inaccessible or very difficult-to-reach areas in the instruments are detected by the ultrasonic waves and effectively cleaned by means of cavitation forces. The MedUSe 60-FSiXi thus represents an unprecedented overall concept in the cleaning of instruments in medical technology. The fully automatic cleaning and rinsing process means that manual intervention by cleaning personnel is no longer necessary.
Compared to conventional systems, the MedUSe 50-F-SiXi achieves a significantly higher degree of disinfection of the instrument collection. The visualized control system allows free programming of various cleaning processes. All process data is stored as a PDF file on the central server.
A process protocol can also be printed out.
